Eager for the beauty of discovery, and comfortable residing in transcendent harmony, my soul spiraled as a perfect Fibonacci work of art, immersed in creating.
One day a shift came. A tremendous shift, one I cannot recall, arrived. Darkness descended. The dark night of the soul called. My eyes were to see the vast darkness, experience its fathomless edges, move with its angles and curves. I was to venture beyond each boundary, again and again. Relentlessly, I was called to delve intensely within. My travels seemed an eternity, and yet timeless. Courage I never thought I possessed was one of the most striking gems unearthed. Beautiful focus and clarity were others. After eight years of passionate questing, my eyes again found light. The beaming light I knew as life again flooded my soul. My honey-brown eyes rejoiced in our ‘coming home.’ My soul was sunnier than ever. I looked back on my journey, attempting to measure. An incalculable distance had been traveled. No mountain was high enough. I was home, steeped in authentic connection to my sweet soul. As I surrendered my whole being and my full life, to God/dess, again I walked in grace. All truly is good.
Now as I journey farther, deeper and even more boldly embrace love as whom we are, I feel the comfort of peace, deep, nurturing and relaxing – again. I feel a powerful peace, a potent peace we all feel when we claim our deepest truth. The unwavering commitment Diana Ross’ bold voice sings in my ear resonates, pulsating a truth experienced robustly. No river deep enough. No ocean wide enough.
